The Modesto Police Activities League (PAL) was established to serve all children between the ages of 5 and 17 years old who live in or attend school in the city of Modesto.  PAL’s goal is to create a positive relationship among youth, police, and the community.  PAL offers the youth a positive alternative to gangs, drugs, and other criminal activities through a wide variety of programs.  PAL provides cultural, educational, and recreational activities for the youth of Modesto.  These programs help the youth develop a positive self image and successful interpersonal skills which will encourage them to stay in school and become a productive member of the community.
